Return Eligibility
Products must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original packaging, including all parts and accessories. Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
Return Authorization Process
To initiate a return, email us at info@canolight.ca to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or Credit Memo (CM) number. Include the order number or invoice, and clear photos of the product and packaging, especially if damaged.
Restocking Fees & Refunds
- A 20% restocking fee applies to returns of opened boxes.
- No restocking fee will be charged in the following cases:
- The item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
- The return is due to an error on Canolight’s part (e.g., incorrect item shipped).
- Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned items and will be credited to the original method of payment.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend using a trackable shipping method.
- If the return is due to our error or a defective/damaged product, Canolight will cover return shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
- The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom-made or special-order fixtures.
- Products that have been installed, wired, altered, or modified in any way.
- Items sold as clearance, final sale, or discontinued stock.
Reporting Damaged or Defective Items
- All physical damage or defect claims must be reported within 30 days of delivery.
- Any missing items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Please send detailed photos and a description via email.
- We will repair, replace, or issue a refund/credit at no cost to you, including shipping, with no restocking fee applied.
Late Return Requests
Returns requested after 30 days from the delivery date will not be accepted.
Stock Rotation
Stocking orders may be exchanged within 60 days of purchase for stock rotation purposes.
